How a Tagline was born!

I thought I would share how my new tagline was born this week. I know a lot of you can probably imagine so many of the things that must be done to start a new business, but there is sooooo much that most folks just don't really think about. This is not my first business, so I knew about all the proper paperwork and such, but the fun part is the creative stuff.
What to name a new business? In this particular case that was easy. I am designing keys... for sororities, so it had to have the word "Key" and I wanted the "Greek" reference, soooooo GreeKeys was born. Now, to design a logo. Again I wanted the "Key" image (repetition is good for branding). I designed the top of the key with a pretty script "G" like a monogram (don't we all just love that look?!?! so pretty and feminine) and the rest of the letters set on the key, just like your Greek sorority letters. Next I wanted to incorporate a "Greek key" pattern, it just HAD to be there! It was a play of words and images, almost a pun, a sophisticated giggle. I love it!, I hope you do too.
Now I just needed a tagline. I guess I didn't NEED one, but I like to have one, it makes me feel good. Sooooooo after weeks (maybe months) it came to me this week. I was thinking about what Mom's say when their daughters are going out "Who are you going with?. Where are you going?, When will you be home?, Do you have enough money?, Do you have your house key?" WHAT??!?!? What was that? "Do you have your house key?" You can't leave home without your house key!!!! And when you're in a sorority you shouldn't leave home without your GreeKey housekey!!! :-D And there it was, and there it is! So now that will be appearing on all my postcards, bags and such!, and now you know how it came to be!
