This wonderful piece started life as a tie tack. This is a bas relief carved crystal that has a reverse hand painted sailboat on the crystal. This technique gives a more lifelike appearance to the painting. It is a beautiful example of Essex Crystal Jewelry. These pieces usually featured animals, flowers, or nautical themes.
I took the tie tack pin off and designed and cast a beautiful rope style frame with bail. The glass painting, set in it's original 14K yellow gold setting is set and has become a beautiful pendant. Now she is a one of a kind piece, ready to start her new life with you!
