I was scrolling through some images of vintage pieces and saw this quirky little lovers knot design from the turn of the century, and I mean the 1800's to the 1900's!!!! I loved the soft lines of the piece and and how it gently twisted around to form a heart and a knot and yes a little bit of a pretzel. It was just so soft and unique and fun, everything I like in a piece of jewelry. I added my own little flower to the piece and I set a rescued gem into each one.
This one is Sterling Silver, it is the maxi size. It is set with one natural ruby in my special petal head. The ruby weighs 0.20ct and is a pretty red color and very bright. It is attached to a fine cable style chain that is secured with a lobster claw clasp. The nceklace measures approximately 18.5 inches overall.
My Rescued Gems are gemstones that have come my way through the second market. I am a graduate gemologist and I select only the nicest gems for my Rescued Gems pieces. The gold I use in my casting is 100% SCS Recycled Content Certified.
